Important Message from MPUSD

Dear MPUSD Community,

The safety and well-being of our students and families remain a top priority at MPUSD. In light of recent events in our community, we want to reassure our families that our schools are safe, welcoming places where every student belongs.

MPUSD DOES NOT participate in immigration enforcement activities or collect information about students' immigration status. We remain committed to protecting the safety, privacy, and rights of all students and ensuring they can learn without fear or disruption.

We understand that families may have questions or concerns and want to share the following resources to provide information and support.

You may also visit MPUSD's website for an archive of resources or reach out to our school site(s) or District Office if you have questions.

RESOURCES

Important Message from the Superintendent | Safe Space - Take two (2) minutes to hear from the Superintendent in English or Spanish about MPUSD's policies, procedures, and values.

MPUSD Unplugged - Take 20 minutes to watch the latest episode in Spanish of MPUSD Unplugged, where we discuss how MPUSD schools are working to protect our students and families during times of uncertainty.

Attendance Update

We have had an interesting attendance pattern this month. Unfortunately, it has not been strong. I know that we have had lot's of students leaving school sick, so that is a part of our attendance story this month.

If you have barriers stopping you from being able to get your child to school, I stand ready to brainstorm with you and support.
