Vice Principal's Message
Greetings Roadrunner Families,
My name is Amanda Bradley, Assistant Principal of J.C. Crumpton. This is my third year serving on site in this role. It has been wonderful seeing how our staff each year has prioritized building relationships, and supporting all of our learners to grow both socially and academically. We know this effort is one in which we all take as a priority whether it be at the District, Site or family level. Having a strong partnership with our families to support this effort is absolutely key.
I truly enjoy the opportunities I have had to meet and connect with many of you when you have had a moment to come to our site, or when we have connected on a phone call. These open lines of communication between the school and home truly are essential in the success of all of our roadrunners.
One of our priorities is to continue to grow in literacy instruction across the site. Building strong foundational skills in Phonics instruction will set up all of our students for success as they navigate the complexities of more rigorous work as they get older. Last year across campus we focused on this area and saw huge growth across the board, but especially with our English Language Learners. We will continue to prioritize strong instruction in order to give our students the academic skills to successfully pursue any area they may choose.
One of my favorite parts of serving at Crumpton has been getting to know each of your children. I love seeing their excitement in the classroom as they are learning something new, or finding success with something that has been a challenge in the past. I have enjoyed playing with them on the playground whether it is freeze dance, basketball, or making friendship bracelets. Your children truly are the most amazing, and they are what make our school so special. I look forward to continuing to build connections with you and your children this school year.
With Care,
Amanda Bradley
