Greetings Road Runners!

My name is Alessandro Tani (Mr. T), proud Principal of JC Crumpton Elementary School. This is my fourth year serving in this role, and I absolutely adore our school. Our school is a loving community that accepts all children and their families for who they are. Our staff is one that shows up with authenticity and a deeply vested interest in supporting youth and their educational journeys. 

As a testament to how much I believe in our school, two of my own children attend JC Crumpton - in 1st grade and TK. The most important element of our school is our diversity, and a tenure of my leadership is respecting that diversity and fostering conditions for it to show. If you attend or visit our school, I encourage you to show up as you are, as the qualities and characteristics that make you, you, are what makes us special. I believe deeply in inclusive school practices that honor all students, and finding ways to honor our children's backgrounds in the classroom and on the playground. 

Throughout the past three years our school staff has made tremendous efforts to become more excellent in their roles. Our teaching team has worked hard to develop their teaching skills in literacy and mathematics, and our school wide academic progress shows it. I am excited to continue that journey of improvement forward, and our staff is eager as well. In the past few years, our greater community has found itself in turbulent and conflicted times. My commitment to you is that our school will be a safe place, with consistent practices and a student first mindset. 

I firmly believe that our students and staff are what makes our school shine.
